The Falcon 900LX is the longest-range trijet available in Los Angeles and the most capable Falcon short of the ultra-long-range aircraft. Twelve to fourteen passengers, 474 knots and 4,750 nautical miles.
Dassault added high-Mach blended winglets to the Falcon 900EX airframe to create the 900LX, lifting range to 4,750 nautical miles. Twelve to fourteen seats, 474 knots and three Honeywell TFE731 engines. Full specifications for the Dassault Falcon 900LX are published by Dassault Falcon.

Why the Dassault Falcon 900LX Fits Los Angeles
Four thousand seven hundred and fifty nautical miles is the longest reach in the heavy category and it changes what is possible from Los Angeles with a full cabin. Northern South America, most of the Pacific short of Asia, and any transcontinental pairing with margin to spare.
The winglets improve both range and climb, which on a fully fueled fourteen-passenger departure from Van Nuys on a hot afternoon is where a heavy jet is working hardest.
Like every Falcon it keeps low approach speeds, so a client based nearer Santa Barbara than the San Fernando Valley is not automatically starting the trip with a drive.

Vetting Behind Every Trip
Every operator, aircraft, and crew goes through our internal due diligence before we present any options. Our internal standards meet or exceed what the FAA requires:
- FAR Part 135 charter operators for traditional private aircraft, or FAR Part 121 for airliner-size and group trips (or the foreign equivalent on international legs)
- Operator subscription to Wyvern and ARGUS reviewed where the operator participates; reports may be provided on request.
- Pilot experience and operator incident history reviewed before we recommend an aircraft.
- Fewer than 60 brokers worldwide hold Premium Wyvern Broker Member status, and Air Charter Advisors is one of them.
