Why the Cessna Citation Bravo Fits Los Angeles
At 403 knots the Bravo gives away roughly an hour to a Learjet 35 on a Los Angeles to Denver run. On a Los Angeles to Las Vegas, NV or Palm Springs hop that difference is a rounding error, and those short legs are where most of its Southern California flying happens.
Nine seats in a light jet is unusual and it is the reason clients come back to this aircraft for group business travel into Orange County. John Wayne Airport operates a noise-limit ordinance rather than a flat curfew, so general aviation can move at night provided the aircraft meets the stricter overnight sound limits.
