The Global 8000 is the longest-range Bombardier ever built and among the two or three furthest-reaching aircraft available anywhere. From Los Angeles its 8,000 nautical miles puts almost nothing out of reach in a single leg.
Bombardier developed the Global 8000 from the 7500 with more range and a higher cruise ceiling, entering service in December 2025. Fourteen to nineteen seats, a typical cruise around Mach 0.85 with a high-speed cruise near Mach 0.90, and 8,000 nautical miles of range.

Why the Bombardier Global 8000 Fits Los Angeles
Eight thousand nautical miles from Los Angeles covers Asia, Australia, the Middle East and Europe with margin rather than at the limit. That margin is the product: it is what keeps a technical stop out of the plan when the winds are wrong or the cabin is full.
The high-speed cruise near Mach 0.90 is genuinely useful on a trans-Pacific leg, where an extra thirty knots compounds across fourteen hours into a materially shorter day.
It entered service in December 2025, so the charter fleet is very small. A Los Angeles request for this specific type will often come back with limited or no availability, and a Global 7500 or a Gulfstream G700 is the realistic alternative.

Vetting Behind Every Trip
Every operator, aircraft, and crew goes through our internal due diligence before we present any options. Our internal standards meet or exceed what the FAA requires:
- FAR Part 135 charter operators for traditional private aircraft, or FAR Part 121 for airliner-size and group trips (or the foreign equivalent on international legs)
- Operator subscription to Wyvern and ARGUS reviewed where the operator participates; reports may be provided on request.
- Pilot experience and operator incident history reviewed before we recommend an aircraft.
- Fewer than 60 brokers worldwide hold Premium Wyvern Broker Member status, and Air Charter Advisors is one of them.
Charter Pricing Reference
Industry hourly rates for the Bombardier Global 8000 run $15,000 to $18,500 per hour as of 7/2026. Actual quotes vary by operator, routing, positioning, and date.
The Global 8000 quotes at the very top of this site’s range, and it is worth pricing a Global 7500 alongside it since the two overlap on most Los Angeles routings.
