The Gulfstream G800 has the longest range of any aircraft on this site at 8,200 nautical miles, which from Los Angeles means essentially anywhere in a single leg. Fourteen to nineteen passengers across four cabin zones.
Gulfstream received FAA type certification for the G800 in April 2025 as the ultra-long-range successor to the G650ER, with Rolls-Royce Pearl 700 engines and a four-zone cabin. Fourteen to nineteen seats, 8,200 nautical miles at Mach 0.85 and around 7,000 nautical miles at a high-speed Mach 0.90. Full specifications for the Gulfstream G800 are published by Gulfstream Aerospace.

Why the Gulfstream G800 Fits Los Angeles
Eight thousand two hundred nautical miles is the furthest reach we can arrange from Los Angeles. The published trade between range and speed is the useful detail: 8,200 nautical miles at the long-range cruise, or roughly 7,000 at Mach 0.90 when the schedule matters more than the margin.
That trade is exactly the conversation to have before booking a trans-Pacific trip. Flown fast it is a shorter day; flown long it removes the technical stop on a difficult return. The operator plans the specific routing either way.
It entered service in mid-2025, so the charter fleet is very small and a Los Angeles request may come back empty. The G650 and the G700 are the realistic alternatives and both are on this site.

Vetting Behind Every Trip
Every operator, aircraft, and crew goes through our internal due diligence before we present any options. Our internal standards meet or exceed what the FAA requires:
- FAR Part 135 charter operators for traditional private aircraft, or FAR Part 121 for airliner-size and group trips (or the foreign equivalent on international legs)
- Operator subscription to Wyvern and ARGUS reviewed where the operator participates; reports may be provided on request.
- Pilot experience and operator incident history reviewed before we recommend an aircraft.
- Fewer than 60 brokers worldwide hold Premium Wyvern Broker Member status, and Air Charter Advisors is one of them.
