Beechcraft King Air 360

The King Air 360 is the current production version of the King Air 350 and the largest turboprop Textron builds. Out of Los Angeles it carries eight to eleven passengers 1,806 nautical miles at 312 knots.

Textron updated the King Air 350i with the IS&S ThrustSense autothrottle, digital pressurization and a redesigned cabin to create the 360, introduced in 2020. Capacity, speed and range are unchanged from the 350 at eight to eleven seats, 312 knots and 1,806 nautical miles. Every Beechcraft King Air 360 we arrange flies with an operator certificated under FAR Part 135, the FAA rules for on-demand, for-hire charter.

Why the Beechcraft King Air 360 Fits Los Angeles

Eleven seats with short-field ability is a combination no jet on this site offers, and the 360 is the newest way to get it. For a corporate group out of Los Angeles into Santa Barbara, Santa Maria, Mammoth or the Central Valley, it lands at the field nearest the meeting rather than the field nearest the freeway.

The digital pressurization gives a lower cabin altitude than earlier King Airs, which on a three-hour leg is the change passengers notice rather than the autothrottle.

Performance is the King Air 350’s, so if the newest cabin is not the priority a 350 does the same trip and is easier to find in Southern California at short notice.

Vetting Behind Every Trip

Every operator, aircraft, and crew goes through our internal due diligence before we present any options. Our internal standards meet or exceed what the FAA requires:

  • FAR Part 135 charter operators for traditional private aircraft, or FAR Part 121 for airliner-size and group trips (or the foreign equivalent on international legs)
  • Operator subscription to Wyvern and ARGUS reviewed where the operator participates; reports may be provided on request.
  • Pilot experience and operator incident history reviewed before we recommend an aircraft.
  • Fewer than 60 brokers worldwide hold Premium Wyvern Broker Member status, and Air Charter Advisors is one of them.
